Prof Dr. Shadi received her Medical Doctorate Degree from Iran University of Medical Sciences.

Then she moved to China to complete a five-year Ph.D. program in Chinese medicine and Acupuncture at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. She is a registered acupuncturist in Ontario, R. Ac. Shadi completed a doctorate degree in naturopathic medicine and she is a registered naturopath doctor in Ontario.

 

Her background in both conventional and alternative medicine makes her able to combine two modalities and bring them to the educational forefront. She has taught a wide variety of science courses at various colleges in Alberta and Ontario for the past nine years. Currently, she is the instructor in Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and practicing as ND and R. Ac. in Toronto.
